Sexual purity before marriage is still the best foundation for a healthy marriage.
If you’re dating, set guidelines at the beginning of your relationship and stick to them. Make sure the person you’re dating knows exactly where your boundaries are. Any time you sense that a boundary is about to be crossed, call it a night and go your separate ways.
If you want a starting point for setting boundaries, here are three rules to consider:
- Never take your clothes off in each other’s presence.
- Never put your hands under each other’s clothes, and
- Never lie down together.
