Every year Travel + Leisure puts out the top ten most romantic cities in the United States, based on a survey posed to the public. The answers were both surprising and well, not so surprising. It was an interesting read, though, that spurred my own thoughts about the people’s choices.
From predictable to alarming, the list touts spots spanning the country. The definition of the term romantic is not clearly outlined. However, the list makes for a compelling plea to contemplate what a romantic city is. It just might stir you to start thinking about that next romantic escape for the two of you. Whether it is a honeymoon or just a long weekend to keep your flames of love burning bright, a trip away might be just what the doctor ordered.
